It started with the latest addition to bebionic; small and perfectly formed the bebionic small is the most natural and true to life bionic hand. Born without a right hand, Nicky had to find ways of adapting to life’s challenges with one hand and just ‘make do’. Now Nicky can take hold of her world with both hands to live out her dreams and create more perfect turning points.

At 12:19 on Tuesday 29th October was the moment that Josh realised that his bebionic hand was his own. Choosing to be fitted with bebionic was a decision that Josh didn’t take lightly. After months of research, trials and talking to other amputees, he finally decided that bebionic was the hand for him. Looking back, Josh knows he made the right decision; bebionic has given him back his life. Its functionality and reliability means he uses it every day and the variety of grip patterns allows him to do simple tasks he once took for granted, quickly and easily.
At 14:44 on Friday 18th February was the day that Angel realised that bebionic means more to her than just giving her a newfound confidence. ‘It’s not just one big thing, it’s all the little things that a lot of people with two hands take for granted. A lot of times people ask me “so what can you do with it?” And the idea isn’t that I’m supposed to be able to crush metal or push something superhuman heavy. The point is I’m supposed to be able to do the things that everybody else can already do. I feel like bebionic has really helped me to be able to do things that I didn’t know were supposed to be easier.’
